Delivery of our products: reservations on receipt

In order to maintain a high quality service, please find below some advice for the reception of your goods.

Upon receipt, it is essential to check: 

  • The number of packages or pallets (information noted on the driver's consignment note),
  • The condition of the package or pallet, the presence of the Coverguard film.

In the event of non-conformity, the reservations must be:

  • Written: Formulated at the time of delivery.
  • Precise: Describing the delivery anomalies and the damage suffered by the goods (and not exclusively by the packaging) with the quantity and reference of the parts concerned.
  • Complete: Only the damage mentioned in the reservations will be considered as existing at the time of delivery.
  • Confirmed in writing within 3 open days: If they have been contradicted by the driver and in all cases for shipments of 3 tons and more.

Examples:

  • Wet goods-x pieces of ref x wet.
  • Pallets unstacked or without Coverguard film, x ref x pieces missing.
  • Opened parcels, x pieces of ref x missing.
  • Partial delivery-x packages of x pieces of ref x are missing.

Please note:

All Coverguard pallets delivered are filmed with green Coverguard logo film. If you notice a different film on receipt, please make a note of this.
